The world is united for Ukraine when Ukrainians are united for freedom, the president said.

America’s help will be felt by Ukrainian soldiers on the front lines, as well as by our cities and villages suffering from Russian terror. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said this in an evening video message on Saturday, April 20.

“Today the United States House of Representatives voted. Thank you to each and everyone who supported our package: it is a solution to protect life. A personal thank you to Speaker Mike Johnson, to all the American hearts that, like we in Ukraine, feel that evil must not win. I hope that the consideration of the package in the US Senate and sending it to President Biden will be quick,” he said.

Zelensky assured that Ukrainians appreciate every show of support in the context of Russia’s aggressive war. He recalled that America had shown its leadership from the first days of the war.

This type of American leadership is essential to ensuring that the world maintains a global order based on rules and predictability for all people. Of course, we will use America’s support to strengthen our neighbors and bring a just end to this war – a war that Putin must lose,” the president said.

He thanked the Ukrainians working for the upcoming victory.

“The world unites for the sake of Ukraine, when Ukrainians unite for the sake of freedom,” summed up the Ukrainian leader.

We remind you that today the US House of Representatives passed a bill to provide almost $61 billion in aid to Ukraine. Most of this huge amount will go to military support.

Congressmen also approved the seizure of Russian fixed assets. Ukraine can calculate up to 8 billion dollars.
