Zelensky published a response photo today, April 19, on his Telegram channel.
Our Donbass. Our warriors. Our volunteers. Ukrainian people. Everyone who defends our state and its independence is the life of Ukraine. We should always appreciate people who do everything so that Ukraine lives and does not submit to the occupier, Zelensky emphasized.
And we must always cherish the memory of each and everyone who gave their lives so that all of Ukraine could survive. Our independence is our people, their strength, the spirit of everyone who, in 2014 and on February 24, chose the path of courage – the path of Ukraine,” he added.
In the Donetsk region, Zelensky held a meeting on the security situation in the region and inspected the construction of fortifications.
At the end of March, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that special flags were raised at the stele at the entrance to the Donetsk region – the flags of those brigades, battalions and units of the Defense Forces that heroically defend Donbass from the Russian occupiers.
