Trump Today Called ‘Foolish’ Not To Have More GOP In Jan. 6 Panel –

Former President Donald Trump today said it was “stupid” to set up a more bipartisan House committee on Jan. 6 to investigate the uprising.

But his party, under his influence, whose stone wall was involved, seemed to hope that the investigation would die on the vine.

Democrats then tried to set up a bipartisan chamber selection committee. But Republicans also stopped him after Pelosi dismissed two of McCarthy’s five lawmakers: Jim Jordan of Ohio and Jim Banks of Indiana.

Both men voted to cancel the results of the presidential election on the grounds that the vote was rigged, which Pelosi says undermines the integrity of the panel.

McCarty then rescinded all five of his recommendations and stopped working together to form a two-party panel.

Today, many Republicans in the Trump administration are testifying against their former boss for his role in inciting a violent attack on the Capitol last year.

According to a new ABC New / Ipsos survey, 60% of Americans surveyed believe the jury is conducting a “fair and impartial” investigation, while 58% believe Trump should be blamed for his role in uprising.
