On the morning of Tuesday, June 21, Russian troops fired cruise missiles at Nikolaev and Ochakov. As a result, the port infrastructure, business buildings and electrical networks were hit, trucks destroyed. This is stated in the summary of the operational command of the South.
As indicated, in conjunction with the wind attack in the center of the region, especially in residential areas, fire was opened from Uragan by several rocket launch systems.
“Prohibited cluster munitions have been used again. One of the cassettes exploded in the very yard of a private house. There were two men there. One died on the spot, the other was injured, doctors are fighting for his life,” the command said.
A few hours later, Ochakov was also removed from the MLRS, with casualties. Later, four enemy missiles were fired at the water area and port posts: no one was injured.
