All were taken to hospitals in the region where Lee died.
The rifle was removed from the area. Police could not provide further details on the shooting incidents and no arrests were made. The investigation is ongoing.
Lee played at Baptist University in Houston, which the statement stated he was killed at a rally in his hometown of Harlem. He will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in December and was recently named HBU Robbie Robertson best student-athlete of the year.
