Xi Jinping announced this during negotiations with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. He called for a conference “with the participation of all parties,” and also named four principles that, in his opinion, would prevent “the unfolding of conflict.”
These principles are quite vague – focus on the overall situation of the world, do not add fuel to the fire, avoid further escalation of conflicts and reduce the negative impact on the global economy.
Xi Jinping called on all parties to work together to restore peace as quickly as possible and prevent the “conflict” from getting out of control.
Ukrainian President Zelensky is against Russia’s participation in the summit. He said this in an interview with PBS. The Muscovites also said that they would not come.
The first world summit at the level of state leaders will be held in Switzerland on June 15-16. Zelensky expects participation in the event in 100 countries.
