Six houses in the village were flooded due to flooding. Their residents moved in with relatives and friends.
Ice damaged the bridge over the Sutyr River in the village of Tirma, Verkhnebureinsky district, Khabarovsk Territory. This was reported by the regional government’s deputy head for infrastructure, Irina Gorbacheva, on her Telegram channel.
“The municipal authorities have initiated a state of emergency. The river is being monitored and the water level is now being measured,” the Russian official wrote.
Six residential buildings were flooded in the village. People from flooded houses are staying with relatives and friends. 20 people remain cut off from transport links.
A helicopter with a rescue team is scheduled to fly on Wednesday, April 17, to provide assistance and assess the situation in the area.
As already written, on April 5, a dam was damaged in the Russian Orsk, Orenburg region. The city and surrounding villages were flooded, and the evacuation of the population began. Local authorities have declared a state of emergency.
Subsequently, it became known that another river was overflowing its banks in Orsk.
