On Sunday morning, April 14, the enemy, using methods of warfare prohibited by international law, dropped explosives from a drone on a civilian vehicle on the territory of the Krasnopolsky community of the Sumy region. The driver of the vehicle died. The Office of the Prosecutor General reported this on Telegram.
Under the procedural leadership of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted under Part 2 of Art. 438 (violations of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Prosecutors, in collaboration with other law enforcement officers, are documenting the consequences of the shootings. The pre-trial investigation is carried out by the Department of the Ukrainian Service in the Sumy region.
Let us remind you that on April 13, Russian soldiers shot at a civilian car in the border area of the Novgorod-Seversky district of the Chernigov region. The driver, who was delivering food to the civilian population, was killed.
