The Security Service of Ukraine managed to prevent the killing of the head of the Kherson police department, Alexander Prokudin. The head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasily Malyuk, announced this on Friday, April 12.
“A local resident of Kherson was detained on April 10. He organized, together with the special services of the enemy, an attempt on Prokudin’s life,” said Malyuk.
The head of the SBU said that Prokudin was monitored using an FPV drone launched from enemy territory.
“The traitor who was directly on the spot conducted visual observation and set fire to Prokudin’s car. He was detained at the stage of completion of the assassination attempt. The enemy drone, at the expense of our electronic warfare systems, reached time,” said the head of the SBU.
Malyuk also said that the department continues to counter enemy penetration of critical infrastructure facilities and locations of defense industry enterprises.
“An FSB agent in Dnepr was detained, who was capturing thermal power plants on his phone and preparing corresponding strikes. Together with colleagues from the internal security of the National Police, they detained a former police officer in Zaporozhye, who worked strictly on defense. Industrial facilities. Several employees of Ukrzaliznytsia were detained, who provided information to the enemy, who provided information to the enemy, logistical movement of arms and weapons,” he said.
Malyuk noted that exposure of enemy agents continues and since the beginning of the year alone 11 attackers working for the enemy have been discovered.
