The head of state spoke to young Ukrainians about the country, its future and work on an analogue of the Marshall Plan for Ukraine.
About $700 billion will be needed to restore Ukraine after the war. President Vladimir Zelensky announced this on Friday, April 12, at a meeting with students of Chernivtsi universities, writes Interfax-Ukraine.
“You and I do not know the true value, because we are not over the war. When it is over, everything will be checked. In principle, the partners agreed that everything will return Ukraine. That the values, let’s say, are clear, and they are accessible, “- he said.
According to him, the main aspects of Ukraine’s recovery are energy, technology and economy.
He also emphasized that one of the conditions for the restoration of the country is its security.
“We will strengthen our internal defense. We will strengthen our security at the borders, in the cities, in the communities. In the future there will be a completely different approach to both security and construction,” added the head of state.
NABU and SAPO exposed an organized group that abused state funds and funds from Ukraine’s international partners intended for the restoration of critical infrastructure in Kharkov.
Switzerland decided to allocate 5 billion Swiss francs (about 5 billion euros) for the restoration of Ukraine. This amount must be sent in 2035. CHF 1.5 billion is already earmarked for 2028.
