The US Department of State, USAID, and the Department of Commerce, in cooperation with the Government of Ukraine and the US Chamber of Commerce, will host the US-Ukraine Partnership Forum on April 17 at the Chamber of Commerce headquarters in Washington. This was stated on Friday, April 12, in an official statement released on Friday by the US State Department.
It is indicated that the Forum will bring together business leaders, officials and politicians. The main topic of the meeting was a discussion of ways to restore Ukraine after the war with the Russian aggressors.
Speeches at the forum by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, US Secretary of Commerce, US Special Representative for Ukraine’s Economic Recovery Penny Pritzker and other high-ranking representatives from both countries are expected.
It is reported that next week the Spring Meetings of the IMF and the World Bank will also be held in Washington, which will bring together the heads of government, central banks and relevant ministers of the member countries. The Ukrainian government delegation is expected to participate in the events.
We remind you that on April 10, Switzerland decided to allocate 5 billion Swiss francs (about 5 billion euros) for the restoration of Ukraine. This amount must be sent in 2035. CHF 1.5 billion is already earmarked for 2028.
