Local authorities can exempt entrepreneurs in Kharkov and the region from local taxes – single tax, rent and property fees. The Cabinet of Ministers made a corresponding decision on April 12. This will reduce the tax burden at least for Kharkov. Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal announced this at a meeting of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities.
According to him, the authorities will compensate for lost revenues from the state budget.
This applies to Kharkov, but for all other territories it applies. We made this a universal mechanism,” he noted.
The head of the Kharkov OVA, Oleg Sinegubov, referring to the government’s decision, said that the created conditions will help adapt processes to today’s realities and develop the economic potential of the region.
Business representatives from the Kharkov region have an important role to play in a full-scale war: preserving jobs, creating new ones, meeting public needs and filling the budget to fight the enemy,” he said.
Let us recall that in March it became known that the Ukrainian government will increase military duty and excise taxes and will introduce monthly payment of advance contributions for income tax by enterprises engaged in the retail trade of fuel.
