Alexander Lukashenko estimated the grouping of troops of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the section of the border with Belarus at 120 thousand military personnel.
Belarus did not go to war against Ukraine because the border was heavily fortified. The formal leader of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, said this in a comment to Russian propagandists on Friday, April 12.
“If we enter into a war against Ukraine now, it will give nothing. Because they (Ukrainians, – edit.) the border with Belarus is barricaded so that you cannot approach it,” he said.
According to Lukashenko, the Ukrainian border is completely mined and concrete. He estimated the grouping of troops of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the section of the Belarusian border at 120 thousand military personnel.
“Well, they want to send to the front (the troops on the border – edit.) against Russia, and put the French in it. We are waiting,” Lukashenko added, but at the same time expressed doubt that the French would really defend Ukraine.
Earlier, Alexander Lukashenko openly said that Belarus was preparing for war. At the same time, he assured that Belarus “does not threaten anyone or anything.”
