This was announced on April 11 by Air Force Speaker Ilya Yevlash. They are practicing the tasks they will perform in Ukraine, including shooting down cruise missiles and Shahed kamikaze drones.
He did not specify exactly how many pilots there would be at the final stage. As for the remaining groups of Ukrainian F-16 pilots, some of them are now taking English courses in Britain, one group in France is mastering control systems.
This is the group of 10 pilots who completed basic flight training in Britain at the end of March.
On April 8, it became known that Greece plans to sell 108 obsolete fighters, including 32 F-16s. In addition to them, Ukraine can theoretically count on 24 Mirage 2000 fighters.
