It was noted that on June 17, the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the first successful use of Western Harpoon anti-ship missiles. The target of the attack was a Russian naval tug Vasily Bekhwhich delivered weapons and personnel to Zmeiny Island in the northwestern part of the Black Sea.
“The destruction of a Russian ship during a repatriation mission shows the difficulties Russia faces in trying to maintain occupation of the island,” the British intelligence said.
