Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and head of the ruling Law and Justice Party, Jarosław Kaczynski, has resigned. In addition, he left the position of head of the national security committee, Wiadomosci reports.
“Right now, I no longer work in the government. I have already submitted a letter of resignation addressed to the prime minister, and it was accepted. As far as I know, the president also signed it,” he said.
According to Kaczynski, Mariusz Blaszczak will be his successor as Deputy Prime Minister.
Earlier, the media wrote that Kaczynski would step down as Deputy Prime Minister of Poland.
