After a series of successful attacks by long-range drones of the SBU on Russian refineries, the gas station country asked Kazakhstan to be ready to supply it with 100 thousand tons of gasoline.

Three industry sources told Reuters.
Other agency sources doubt that Kazakhstan will be able to fulfill the Kremlin’s request: the country’s gasoline reserves are only 307 thousand tons of A-92 and 58.7 thousand tons of A-95. In addition, Kazakhstan has also limited the export of gasoline, except for humanitarian purposes.
Belarus also agreed to help Russia with gasoline after the latter imposed a six-month export ban from March 1 to prevent acute fuel shortages. Traders say the ban could be extended if the situation in Russia worsens.
In total, the SBU has already carried out 14 successful attacks on Russian refineries in different regions of the country, which have reduced the export of Russian petroleum products by a third.
The energy ministries of Russia and Kazakhstan did not respond to Reuters’ request.
