During the day, 67 military clashes were recorded on the front. The Russian army attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in six directions. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this in a report on the evening of Sunday, April 7.
In total, Russian troops carried out six missile and 72 air strikes, and carried out 39 attacks from multiple rocket-launching systems on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.
In the direction of Kupyansk, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations (attack), but conducted airstrikes in the area of the village of Berestovo, Kharkov region. At the direction of Avdeevsky, five attacks were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Pervomaiskoye, Nevelskoye, Netaylovo in the Donetsk region, where the Russians, with aviation support, tried to expel units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from their occupied lines.
In the direction of Novopavlovsk, the Defense Forces continued to suppress the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Krasnogorovka, Pobeda, Novomikhailovka, where the enemy tried to breach the defense 17 times.
At the direction of Orekhovsky, the invaders, with the support of aviation, carried out two attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of Staromayorskoye, Donetsk region, and Robotinoye, Zaporozhye region.
In the direction of Kherson, the enemy does not abandon his intention to expel the Ukrainian units from the bridges on the left bank of the Dnieper. Thus, during the day the enemy carried out eight unsuccessful attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Within 24 hours, Defense Forces aircraft carried out strikes on a command post, three anti-aircraft missile systems, a communications tower and 13 places where Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment is concentrated.
Missile force units destroyed an anti-aircraft missile system, a UAV control center, an artillery system, and three areas where the enemy’s weapons and military equipment were concentrated.
We remind you that in the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces liquidated 820 invaders. Since the start of the full-scale war against Ukraine, the Russian army has lost 447,510 soldiers.
