Experts found that it was a former search and rescue boat, converted to perform military tasks.
A small boat has been discovered in the Black Sea near the coast of Romania, which may have been converted into a marine drone. Digi24 reported this on Friday, April 5.
It was reported that two days ago, Romanian border guards noticed an overturned boat in the sea near the village of Tuzla.
The ship of the Romanian maritime rescue service towed the search to the port of Constanta, where specialists from different services, after examination, found that it was a former search and rescue service boat, converted to carry out military activities.
Specifically, an antenna for a jamming signal was found on the bow of the three-ton boat, and an explosive device may have been attached nearby.
It was reported that the boat was allegedly taken to a military training ground in Capu Midia.
It was previously reported that fragments of the drone were found on a farm in Romania near the border with Ukraine. The drone fell on farmland on Bolshoi Brailovsky Island, the Romanian Ministry of Defense reports.
We remind you that in October of last year, a drone also fell on the territory of Romania during the Russian air attack on the port infrastructure of Ukraine.
