This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to its own sources in the intelligence services.
According to sources in the Main Intelligence Directorate, at least three Tu-95MS strategic bombers at the Engels-2 airfield were likely seriously damaged as a result of the drone attack.
In addition, seven occupiers died there, some of whom may have been bomber pilots.
Another target of the attack was a military airfield in the city of Yeysk. As a result of UAV strikes, at least four occupiers there were eliminated and two enemy Su-25s were completely burned out.
The interlocutors also reported the defeat of the airfield in Kursk (currently without details).
The night of April 5 became one of the darkest for Russian strategic aviation and aviation in general. The consequences of this attack will be felt by the occupiers in the long term. But this is not the last such operation; as they say, we haven’t started yet,” said the publication’s interlocutor at the Main Intelligence Directorate.
There were 70 aircraft at the Russian airfields attacked by drones.
