Sheref Malkoch will work to visit Ukrainian prisoners in the Russian Federation and document the conditions of their detention.

Turkish Ombudsman Şeref Malkoç plans to visit Ukrainian prisoners in Russia. His Ukrainian colleague Dmitry Lubinets announced this on Friday, April 5, on Telegram.

He emphasized that this happened against the backdrop of his personal invitation to Malkoch to visit Russian prisoners of war in Ukraine, as well as to meet with the families of defenders and civilians of Ukraine.

“Today the chief ombudsman of Turkey will work to visit Ukrainian prisoners in the Russian Federation and record the conditions of their detention. We are also working on the issues of transferring things and letters for prisoners of war, “said Lubinets, adding that it is very important for Ukraine.

Earlier, the UN reported that the Russians had executed more than 30 prisoners of war over the winter.

Let’s remember that during Easter the Pope spoke to Ukraine and Russia with a call to carry out an exchange of prisoners in an “all for all” format.
