Prosecutors of the Rivne Regional Prosecutor’s Office in court proved the guilt of the People’s Artist of Ukraine, who was accused of collaboration activities (Part 6 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). She was sentenced in absentia to 10 years in prison, with deprivation of the right to hold positions in the cultural sector for 12 years and confiscation of property. The Office of the Prosecutor General announced this on March 3 in Telegram.
During the investigation, it turned out that a resident of Kherson, who had worked in the local theater for more than 20 years and received the title of “People’s Artist of Ukraine,” after the occupation of the city, began collaborating with the enemy. The invaders first appointed her the director of two music schools, and then she began to head the so-called “Kherson Regional Russian Academic Music and Drama Theater” in Genichesk.
Now the attacker is spreading Russian propaganda and has participated in hostile events. In particular, she performed accompanied by a “choir of troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation” during a concert dedicated to the “entry into Russia of new territories” of the Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
The Office of the Prosecutor General did not name the artist’s name, but the media claim that we are talking about People’s Artist of Ukraine Ruzhena Rubleva.
Let us remind you that the former Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Dmitry Tabachnik, who worked during the time of Viktor Yanukovych, received 15 years in prison in absentia. After he fled to Russia, Tabachnik collaborated with the FSB, advising Gauleiters and collaborators in the occupied Ukrainian territories.
