Deputy Minister of Defense Ekaterina Chernogorenko announced this during the telethon.
According to her, the e-office is necessary solely for updating data.
The Ministry of Defense explained what the law on digital changes in the army signed by the president provides for.
This is an opportunity to create an electronic military account. Citizens will be able to make changes to their personal data.
Creation of an application for military personnel, Army+, the first functions of which will be electronic reports, a knowledge base, and feedback. The launch of the beta version of the application is scheduled for summer 2024.
Ukraine will be able to host its IT systems in the clouds of NATO member countries. This will strengthen cyber protection and improve data exchange with partners.
Improving the interaction of the Obereg registry. Interaction with other registers will expand the list of information about those liable for military service. Citizens will not need to collect a bunch of documents for the TCC.
Obtaining UBD status. The bill creates the basis for the complete digitalization of the process of granting combatant status. In some cases, status will be granted automatically without the participation of a commission.
Let us remind you that the President of Ukraine signed a law on the creation of an electronic register of those liable for military service. Thanks to this, the Ministry of Defense will receive data on citizens from 17 to 60 years old, who are contained in various state registers.
