The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center predicts an atmospheric front with short-term rain and the movement of polluted air in the Russian Federation.
Air currents carrying dust from the African Sahara Desert were still prevalent in Ukraine on Tuesday, April 2. The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center reported this on its Facebook page on Tuesday, April 2.
Air pollution can be seen on map no. 1, weather forecasters note.
However, soon an atmospheric front with short-term rain will arrive in Ukraine. In addition, the wind direction is predicted to change from south to west – this is a new, fresh air mass. Changes in wind direction are shown in map 2.
In the coming evening, the dust will begin to move towards Russia through new air currents. This can be seen on map #3.

We previously wrote that, according to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, dust from the Sahara was recorded in our country. It poses a threat to people with respiratory diseases, the elderly and children.
In addition, weather forecasters predicted that in early April it will be hot, dry and sunny in Kyiv. However, this weather will not last long – weather forecasters predict a sharp cold snap and rain.
