At lunchtime on Monday, April 1, a technical glitch occurred in the work of monobank (Universal Bank), expressed in two forms – either the user cannot enter the program (freezes on the splash screen), or after logging in he cannot make payments.
A message appears at the top of the menu: “It seems our cat screwed up. Try again.”
The co-founder of the bank, Oleg Gorokhovsky, announced that Monobank had a failure.
They fell a little. I apologize :(- he wrote in his Telegram.
Users report interruptions in the operation of the mobile application. The monobank support service confirmed the failure and assured that technical services are already working to fix it.
Sorry, please, there are currently some difficulties on our side that may affect your experience with the application or making payments. This issue has already been escalated to the highest possible level and our specialists are working to resolve it as quickly as possible. Please give us some time,” explained monobank manager Alexander.
He recommended waiting to make payments, and if the funds had already been sent and did not arrive, he did not make repeated transfers.
When asked about the time frame for eliminating the glitch, Monobank said that the problem will be resolved within a day.
