The hacker group was able to penetrate critical infrastructure servers and recover tens of terabytes of classified information.
The team of the Ukrainian hacker group UA25 gained access to more than 100 Russian sites in a few minutes and caused billions of dollars in damage to Russia. The Stratcom of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Saturday, March 30.
It is reported that the hacker group was able to penetrate critical infrastructure servers and recover tens of terabytes of classified information.
“This hacker attack caused more than $12 billion in damage to the aggressor’s country. Restoring servers and information will require a lot of time and resources,” the message said.
Let’s recall that at the beginning of March, GUR hackers carried out a large-scale DDoS attack on the servers of the Russian Ministry of Defense. They got access to information and documents, including secrets.
