The enemy dropped this powerful ammunition on the village of Bolshaya Pisarevka, Sumy region. After the explosion, a cloud of smoke rose 1 km high. The use of these weapons against peaceful Ukrainian settlements is “a new low in Russia’s war against Ukrainian cities.” This was stated by military expert Julian Repke, writes Bild.
It is noted that the one and a half ton volumetric detonating aerial bomb is a thermobaric projectile from the times of the USSR. This ammunition emits a flammable liquid in the form of an aerosol approximately 10 m before hitting the target and ignites it. Such an explosion is called volumetric.
Let us recall that the other day, military-political observer of the Information Resistance group Alexander Kovalenko said that the Russian occupiers are testing in Ukraine a new UMPB D-30SN aerial bomb, which may be an analogue of the American GLSDB.
It was previously reported that since February of this year, the Russian Federation has launched mass production of powerful three-ton FAB-3000 aerial bombs.
