From April 1, the minimum wage will increase from 7,100 to 8,000 UAH, and payments to working pensioners will also increase.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal announced the increase of the minimum wage and payments to working pensioners from April 1.
“Starting April 1, the minimum wage is increasing from UAH 7,100 to UAH 8,000. Also, starting in April, we will increase payments for working pensioners. In March, more than 10 million Ukrainian pensioners received indexed payments on time. In total, pensions worth UAH 62 billion were paid this month,” – said the message.
It was previously reported that the average salary in Ukraine increased by 17.5% over the year. In real terms, the average salary for 2023 remains 8.3% lower than before the full-scale war.
