Impact on energy
At night, the Russians once again hit energy facilities, and there are power outages in two regions.
Ukrenergo writes about such consequences of a night attack by Russian Nazis.
That night, the invaders attacked energy facilities in the Dnepropetrovsk, Cherkasy and Poltava regions, said Energy Minister German Galushchenko.
The occupants attacked three thermal power plants of DTEK, the company noted.
The equipment was seriously damaged. After the end of the attack, power engineers promptly began eliminating the consequences, the report says.
Thermal and hydroelectric power plants in the central and western regions were damaged. Currently, emergency shutdowns are used in the Dnipropetrovsk region, and hourly shutdown schedules are used in the Kharkiv region, Ukrenergo said.
Over the Dnepropetrovsk region, Ukrainian air defense destroyed 24 air targets: 12 missiles and 12 drones. Several energy facilities were damaged – in the Dnieper, Krivoy Rog and Kamensk regions. In one of them, a man was injured and received the necessary medical assistance.
In the Cherkasy region, Russians ended up in an energy infrastructure facility, said the head of the OVA, Igor Taburets. Also, due to falling drone debris, non-residential premises were damaged and windows in a private household were broken. In addition, a cruise missile was shot down over the Uman region. There were no casualties.
According to preliminary information, the air defense forces missed six enemy bombs over the region, but they also hit an energy infrastructure facility.
However, there are also missile hits on an energy infrastructure facility. All services are on site. Work to eliminate the consequences continues. The main thing is that no people were injured, the head of the police department said in a statement.
