This is Hidalgo’s fourth visit to Kyiv during a full-scale war. The first took place in April 2022. Then Kyiv and Paris signed an Agreement of Friendship and Cooperation.
On March 28, Klitschko presented Anne Hidalgo with the insignia of the Kyiv mayor – the badge “With assistance in the defense of Kyiv.” After all, since the beginning of a full-scale war, the Paris mayor’s office has been sending humanitarian aid, as well as generators and other equipment that is extremely necessary.
The mayor of Paris invited Klitschko to the summit of mayors of European cities, which will be held in Paris in May.
