The former Chairman of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov, accused of receiving more than UAH 722 million in illegal benefits, has been extended the preventive measure in the form of detention by the High Anti-Corruption Court until May 26. This was reported by SAP on March 28.
It was noted that the court again reduced the amount of bail for the accused as an alternative preventive measure – from UAH 70 million to UAH 65 million.
According to the investigation, the former head of the State Fiscal Service, Roman Nasirov, with the help of his adviser, during 2015-2016 provided legal entities controlled by the agricultural owner with VAT refunds to amount more than UAH 3.2 billion. . For this, the former head of the State Fiscal Service illegally received in his favor and in favor of third parties more than UAH 722 million. At the end of October last year, VAKS arrested Nasirov with an alternative bail of 523,205,865 UAH.
Later, the former head of the State Fiscal Service reduced the bail by half – to UAH 261 million. On November 9, HACS extended Nasirov’s detention until January 7, but at the same time reduced his bail to more than UAH 120 million.
On December 6, the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court did not change the preventive measure for the former head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine Roman Nasirov in the form of detention.
As reported, the High Anti-Corruption Court granted the request of the defense of the ex-chairman of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov to close the proceedings on the charges of official forgery after the statute of limitations has expired.
