The report states that the head of the State Duma Committee on Youth Policy, Artem Metelev, commented on the questions of an RTVI correspondent about the possible blocking of the messenger.
“Both the administration of Telegram and Pavel Durov himself always react quickly. What we see is simple – in case of incidents, they cooperate with law enforcement agencies, including blocking prohibited content.”
According to him, the Center for the Protection of Youth Rights “regularly receives requests to block this or that channel, flayer channel, etc.,” adding that moderators “meet halfway” and prohibit such content.
