The Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) officially proclaimed Russian aggression in Ukraine as a stage in the struggle of Russians against the Satan-ridden West.

    .

The Russian Orthodox Church dreams of including all post-Soviet territories and “all Eastern Slavs” in Russia’s zone of influence.

The corresponding document called “order” was adopted by the World Russian People’s Council “The Present and Future of the Russian World”, held on March 27 in the main Orthodox Church of Russia – Christ the Savior in Moscow. The event was chaired by the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill.

The Russian Church denies the existence of the Ukrainian and Belarusian peoples. The document also talks about the “Russian world”. Its borders, according to the Russian Church, are wider than both the state borders of Russia and “historical Russia”.
