The Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security still has about 700 amendments left to consider. They can be discussed for two days this week.
The Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security is trying to consider as soon as possible all the amendments made to the draft mobilization law. However, two more days are needed. This is what the deputy chairman of the committee, deputy Yegor Chernev, said in a telethon on Wednesday, March 27.
“We’re doing the maximum on our part, trying to get through everything as quickly as possible. About 800 or 700 edits have been completed today. A total of 3,500 have been completed,” he said.
According to the people’s representative, the committee has 700 amendments left to consider. According to Chernev, they will be examined within two days. After that, the bill will be voted on in the Rada.
We remind you that on February 7, the Verkhovna Rada adopted in the first reading a bill on strengthening mobilization in Ukraine. The law is being prepared for the second reading. People’s representatives proposed thousands of amendments.
