The monarch, as part of the Interflex program, visited recruits of the Ukrainian defense forces who are studying in the UK. Soldiers learn shooting drills, operations in cities and trenches, medical care and the laws of war. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook on March 27.
It is noted that the king not only talked with instructors and Ukrainian military personnel, but was also present in some parts of the training program. In particular, he saw how recruits were taught how to use weapons. also explained how to recognize different types of mines and he delved into medical instruction.
As you know, Operation Interflex is the result of cooperation between Great Britain, the Netherlands, Norway, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Lithuania, Estonia, Romania, New Zealand and Australia. By 2023, about 34.5 thousand Ukrainian military personnel had been trained as part of this operation.
