The opening of a coalition of armored vehicles in support of Ukraine, at the initiative of Poland and Germany, took place in Warsaw on March 26. The initiative also included the UK, Sweden and Italy. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
“The purpose of the coalition of armored vehicles is to strengthen the armored shield of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, through joint efforts to increase the capabilities of our troops in the fight against the Russian aggressor, to ensure effective operation, maintenance , and repair of equipment and weapons given to us by our allies,” said Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Defense Ivan Gavrilyuk , who headed the Ukrainian delegation.
Within the coalition, four syndicates have been created to carry out several tasks:

supply of weapons and ammunition for Western armored vehicles;

maintenance and repair;

training of personnel and technical personnel;

developing effective tactics for using armored vehicles on the battlefield
According to the Ukrainian official, within the framework of the coalition, a road map corresponding to the development strategy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be developed.
In the long term, coalition members aim to help Ukraine create a fleet of equipment and establish industrial partnerships with it.
As already written, Ukrainian armored vehicles increased production tenfold during the two years of the full-scale war with the Russian Federation. The company has dozens of sites across the country.
Last year, the volume of production of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex tripled compared to 2022. In 2024, we should expect another sixfold increase.
