A traitor has been detained in the Kyiv region; The occupiers planned to use this information to launch air strikes against Defense Forces targets. The press center of the Security Service of Ukraine reported this on social networks on March 25.
First, the traitor had to complete a test task – to scout out the locations of military airfields and hospitals, as well as defense factories, in the Kiev region. The attacker was detained at the final stage of the special operation. By that time, he had already submitted documents as a candidate to join the ranks of the National Police.
The “mole” turned out to be a resident of the Brovary district, who at the end of 2023 was remotely recruited by a career FSB officer. Russian intelligence services became interested in him after he left pro-Kremlin comments in Russian public chats. the occupiers transferred money to his bank card.
The detainee has already been informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 (high treason committed under martial law) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He faces life imprisonment.
Let us recall that in the Kyiv region the SBU exposed a father and son who were preparing enemy missile attacks on the capital region. They transferred to the occupiers the geolocation of the defense forces, including military personnel of the special operations forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
