Now there are two ways to leave the occupied region of Kherson: through the temporarily occupied Crimea and through the occupied Melitopol and Vasylivka towards Zaporozhye.
At least 450-500 thousand inhabitants remain in the occupied territory of the Kherson region. The head of Kherson OVA, Gennady Laguta, announced this at a briefing on Monday, June 20.
Laguta believes that about 50% of those who do not want to stay in work have left this territory.
According to him, now there are two ways to leave the occupied region of Kherson: through the temporarily occupied Crimea and through the occupied Melitopol and Vasylivka towards Zaporozhye.
In addition, the head of the UVA said that the occupiers were holding more than 600 Ukrainians in captivity – most of them activists and participants in the ATO. They are placed in a pre-trial detention center, police department, area of recreation centers and boarding houses.
It was previously reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had withdrawn the occupiers from the first line of defense in the Kherson region.
Recall, the adviser to the head of the UVA said that the tactical successes of the Ukrainian army in advancing towards Kherson could be completely counter-offensive.
