The Ukrainian air defense destroyed 43 enemy air targets on the night of Sunday, March 24. This was reported by the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
It is indicated that the Russian aggressors attacked with 29 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles from 14 Tu-95MS strategic aircraft (Engels launch area – Russian Federation) and 28 Shahed attack UAVs (Primorsko-Akhtarsk launch area – Russian Federation, Cape Chauda).
Anti-aircraft missile units and fighter aircraft, mobile fire groups and electronic warfare equipment are involved in repelling the air attack.
“As a result of anti-aircraft combat, 43 air targets were destroyed: 18 X-101/X-555 cruise missiles and 25 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs within Dnepropetrovsk, Kherson, Nikolaev, Odessa, Sumy, Kiev, Volyn and Lvov regions, “- said the message.
We remind you that on the night of March 24, an air raid alert was announced throughout Ukraine. 14 TU-95MS bombers – carriers of cruise missiles – took off. After a while, Kyiv residents heard explosions. The enemy also tried to attack the western regions of Ukraine.
In the morning it became known that about a dozen Russian missiles were shot down in the Kyiv area. And in the Lvov region they announced an attack of two dozen missiles and a group of suicide bombers.
