A group of Ukrainian pilots completed one of the stages of training with Western F-16 fighters in the UK.
Ten Ukrainian pilots have already completed basic flight training in the F-16 fighter. About that reported the press service of the British Ministry of Defense on Saturday, March 23, and released the photo.
“The first Ukrainian pilots to undergo intensive training under the auspices of the Royal Air Force have completed their training,” said the caption on the photos.
The department noted that after that, the Ukrainian pilots will proceed to the next stage of training in France.
We remind you that Ukraine can receive the first F-16 fighter in the summer of 2024. Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine said that all necessary decisions on the acquisition of F-16 aircraft have been made that and the process is “moving according to plan.”
