The most difficult situation has developed in the Novopavlovsk direction. The enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the defenses of the defense forces 27 times, but the Ukrainian military held back the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Krasnohorivka, Georgievka, Novomikhailovka, Konstantinovka and Urozhaynoye. This is stated in the evening report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for March 23.
Another 11 attacks of the invaders were repulsed in the Bakhmut direction in the areas of Kleshchievka, Bogdanovka and Ivanovsky. Nine unsuccessful assaults for the invaders were recorded in the Avdeevsky direction.
In the Limansky direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces stopped six enemy attacks, in the Orekhovsky direction, three attacks in the Robotinoy area of the Zaporozhye region. The occupiers also unsuccessfully tried to dislodge the Ukrainian Armed Forces from Krynoki, Kherson region.
At the same time, the General Staff noted, Air Force aircraft carried out strikes on eight areas where enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated. The missile forces hit an area where enemy personnel were concentrated, four command posts, an air defense facility, an artillery facility, and a Russian radar station.
Let us recall that the commander of the Ground Forces, Alexander Pavlyuk, said that Russia is forming a group of 100 thousand soldiers and by the beginning of summer the enemy may have certain forces for offensive operations in one of the directions.
