Part of the funds in the amount of 20 million pounds sterling (more than 25 million US dollars) will be used to provide air defense for Ukraine.
The UK will provide Ukraine with a new military aid package worth 60 million pounds sterling (about 75.5 million US dollars), which includes drones and the provision of air defense systems. This is stated in the message British Ministry of Defence March 22.
It was noted that 20 million pounds sterling (more than 25 million US dollars) will be spent on providing air defense to Ukraine to “help maintain Ukraine’s skies.”
The UK will also provide new surveillance drones to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
We remind you that Lithuania announced the transfer to Ukraine of a batch of systems to counter drones. The aid was provided as part of long-term military support to Ukraine in the amount of 200 million euros.
Estonia has also reportedly announced a military aid package for Ukraine worth 20 million euros.
