This was stated by the editor-in-chief of Krytyka Polityczna (Poland) Slawomir Sierakowski during the 16th annual Kyiv Security Forum.
According to him, today a more pro-Ukrainian government has been formed in Poland than ever before.
Donald Tusk spoke in parliament in Ukrainian. This was the first politician to visit the front line with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. Radoslaw Sikorski (the current Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland) too, I know him personally,” he noted.
He believes that the Polish government is acting quietly, with understanding towards the position of farmers, in order to both resolve this issue and not lose the elections to the populists.
The Polish journalist noted that in his country there are two elections ahead, so “here it’s either lose the elections or have problems at the border.”
I am absolutely confident that once all these internal problems in Poland are resolved, the next thing the government will do the next day is to do everything possible to open the border and do everything possible to support Ukraine – both militarily and politically , added Sierakovsky.
