Reuters said a drop in the volume of primary oil refining would lead to an increase in its exports.
Oil exports to Russia are growing amid Ukraine’s drone attacks on oil infrastructure. In March, Russia is likely to increase exports by 200 thousand barrels per day, Reuters news agency reports.
“The attacks are likely to reduce Russian oil throughput by 300,000 barrels per day, in addition to planned maintenance shutdowns,” JP Morgan analysts wrote in a note.
However, the decrease in the amount of primary oil refining will lead to an increase in its exports, the media believe.
The news agency suggests that Russia will increase oil exports through its Western ports in March by nearly 200 thousand barrels per day.
As we have already written, in one night SBU drones attacked three factories in Russia – in the cities of Ryazan, Kstovo and Kirishi. On March 12, drones disabled one of the most powerful oil refineries in Russia, LUKOIL-Nizhnegorodnefteorgsintez.
In addition, the latest attack by Ukrainian drones caused the closure of three oil refineries in the Russian Federation. Thus, Russia lost 12% of its oil refining capacity.
