In Lvov, military commissars brutally detained a volunteer, and in Transcarpathia, in the TCC area, a conscript was found in a pool of blood.
Ukraine has once again been rocked by scandals involving employees of territorial recruitment centers. The first took place in Transcarpathia. There, as the man’s relatives say, TCC employees allegedly kidnapped him from the hotel and pushed him to attempt suicide. The serviceman was in the hospital, and the police became interested in the case.
Another incident occurred in Lvov. There, military commissioners forced a volunteer to get into a car without serving a summons. What is known about these events and how they are explained in TCC is beyond the story.
What came first?
While staying at the military registration and enlistment office of the city of Khust, Transcarpathian region, a young man tried to commit suicide. His girlfriend wrote this on social networks. According to him, his beloved wanted to do this because of the severe beatings by TCC workers.
He claims that border guards allegedly abducted him from a hotel in the city of Vinogradov, where he was taken to the Vilok checkpoint on the Hungarian border. There the man was accused of trying to cross the border. In addition, they took his phone, documents and money, and only allowed him to make calls if he agreed to sign a document about an illegal attempt to cross the border.

According to the Transcarpathian TCC, on March 13, a person liable for military service was detained by border guards while trying to cross the border illegally. Subsequently, they took him to the TCC to clarify his military registration data. Already at the military registration and enlistment office, the man attempted suicide by cutting off his hands, the military said.
The servicemen called the police and an ambulance. Doctors recorded a suicide attempt. At the same time, an internal investigation into this fact began.
Investigation results
On Monday, March 18, the Transcarpathian TCC and SP published the results of an internal investigation, in which they repeated their initial version about the man’s attempt to flee abroad.
The TCC claimed that border guards detained the man liable for military service while trying to cross the border illegally, then brought him to the TCC in the city of Irshava, but there the man said he did not trust the local VLK, and he was transferred to TCC Khust. And there he apparently “behaved inappropriately” and at night “attempted to commit suicide in the bathroom of the security company,” where the officer on duty noticed that he was unconscious on the floor covered in blood. He was hospitalized with “minor scratches on both forearms.”
“The doctors recorded that he was hospitalized in a hysterical state. The doctors also said that this condition could be caused by the use of narcotic drugs or substances. Subsequently, a plate of the drug Gidazepam, which is used for neurotic, psychopathic asthenia, was found in EV Khabarov’s underwear “The plate is missing 5 out of 10 pills,” the message said.
The TCC claims that the man was not beaten, and “the scratches on the face of conscript EV Khabarov do not indicate physical abuse of him; Khabarov could have inflicted these wounds on himself for purpose of the simulation,” military registration and enlistment. office addition.
Scandal with a volunteer
On March 15, in Lviv, TCC employees forced a volunteer into a minibus. As reported by the wife of the imprisoned Kirill Taran, Violetta, the military apparently tore off her husband’s jacket, broke his glasses and phone.
“At 21:50, the husband was on his way home. Two cars stopped near him. Five TCC representatives were forcibly pushed into a bus, causing bodily harm, and taken in an unknown direction. When I contacted the a lawyer, the man at that time did not know where he was being taken,” – he said.
According to the woman, Kirill was not called to the place of detention. At the same time, the man refused to undergo VLC because he did not have medical documents with him that he wanted to give to the commission.
Violetta called the police and reported the missing person, but law enforcement officers contacted her after 1.5-2 hours, the woman assured. During this time, the volunteer was first taken to Trekhovichi (Lviv region), and then to Rivne.
It is known from social networks that Kirill Taran is actively involved in military training for Ukrainian defenders. All reports are always published. According to his wife, the man was conducting training camps as Azov’s rear guard.
In addition, Kirill organized trainings for civilians in pre-medical care, and is now a curator and printer at DrukArmy, printing on 3D printers everything that can be useful for use of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the front.

Reaction to the situation
The first to react to the incident was the head of the Lvov regional TCC and joint venture, Artur Niyazov. He promised to conduct an official investigation and bring those responsible to justice. Then Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmitry Lubinets intervened in the situation. He immediately condemned the military’s actions.
“My representative was given unhindered access to documents on Kirill Taran. A meeting was also held in this case at the regional TCC. They decided to schedule a re-examination of VLK, based on the results of which the regional TCC will make a decision on Kirill Taran,” wrote Lubinets.
Today, the Lviv Regional TCC commented on the use of force against a volunteer. They said he did not show military registration documents, and also “caused a conflict” with the military sent to TCC due to battle injuries.
“We respect and thank every Ukrainian who supports the Ukrainian Armed Forces and brings our common victory closer. At the same time, this does not give the right to humiliate the honor and dignity of soldiers who lost their health in the defense of Ukraine,” the message said.
According to the TCC, when changing his residence, the volunteer did not register with the TCC and SP at his new residence for seven days. He also refused to undergo VLK. An investigation into this fact is underway and “all necessary steps have been taken.”
