In the interbank market, the American currency rose in price by 19 kopecks – up to 38.98-39.00 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine raised the dollar and euro exchange rates against the hryvnia to a new historic high. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Monday, March 18.
So, tomorrow the dollar is worth 38.9744 UAH (+0.1746 UAH). The previous maximum was recorded on March 18 – 38.7998 UAH per 1 dollar.
The euro exchange rate increased further and will reach UAH 42.447 (+0.2018 UAH). The previous record was on March 14 – 42.4183 UAH.
In the interbank market today, the American currency rose in price by 19 kopecks – to 38.98-39.00 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
In the cash market, the dollar rose by 40 kopecks to UAH 39.15.
Earlier on Monday it became known that the dollar had overcome the psychological threshold in the interbank foreign exchange market.
Let us remind you that last week the National Bank significantly increased the sale of foreign currency in the interbank market. In total, nearly $4.6 billion has been sold since the beginning of the year.
