An enemy FAB-1500 with a UPMK control module weighing 1.5 thousand tons fell in an open area in a private residential sector. However, the Russian bomb did not explode. The State Emergency Service announced this on Facebook on March 16.
The dangerous ammunition was seized by pyrotechnicians of the State Emergency Service and destroyed in a special place. Rescuers stressed that when this type of bomb explodes, debris can strike at a distance of up to 500 m.
Let us remind you that on March 4, in the Odessa region, rescuers neutralized a Russian anchor mine. It was discovered on the Black Sea coast and destroyed in a safe place.
