Russian Glotovo is located less than three kilometers from the border with Ukraine’s Sumy region.
The governor of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said that in the region, near the village of Glotovo, a Ukrainian drone allegedly crashed into a car, resulting in five injuries. He wrote about it on Saturday, March 16, in Telegram.
“As a result of the explosion, the car caught fire and five people inside were injured,” he wrote.
According to Gladkov, the victims suffered concussions and shrapnel wounds.
“A juvenile male has a cerebral contusion, a male has a sharp wound to the abdominal cavity and shrapnel wounds to the upper and lower extremities. A female has shrapnel wounds to the face and scapular area, as well as contusion. Two more men have moderate concussions,” he added.
According to Gladkov, all the victims were hospitalized by doctors. Ukraine is blamed for the attack.
