Austin to Chair 20th Ramstein Meeting

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin will travel to Germany on Monday to chair the 20th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group. Pentagon press secretary Sabrina Singh spoke about this in a briefing on Thursday, March 14.

“On Monday, Secretary Austin will travel to Germany, where, along with the head of the Committee, KK Brown, Jr., he will chair the 20th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group at Ramstein Air Force Base,” Singh said. .

In Germany, they will join defense ministers and senior military officials from nearly 50 countries to discuss the war in Ukraine and reaffirm the commitment of the United States and allies to help Ukraine defend against Russian aggression.

As Singh said, the United States “will not allow Ukraine to lose the war.”
