The parties outlined areas for further engagement, especially on the issues of the Ukrainian peace formula.
Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak met with Chinese Ambassador to Ukraine Fan Xianrong. This was stated in a message on the president’s website on Wednesday, March 13.
“The interlocutors summarized the results of last week’s visit to Ukraine by the Chinese delegation led by the Special Representative of the PRC Government for Eurasian Affairs Li Hui,” the statement said.
Andriy Ermak and Fan Xianrong outlined directions for further cooperation, in particular, on issues contained in the clauses of the Ukrainian peace formula.
“The Head of the Office of the President informed about the preparations for the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland at the level of heads of state,” the message said.
It was earlier reported that the Chinese government’s representative for Eurasian affairs Li Hui held “frank and friendly” negotiations with Ukrainian officials in Kyiv.
Let’s add that Ukraine invited Chinese leader Xi Jinping to the Peace Summit in Switzerland according to the previously proposed Peace Formula.
